Fiji/ImageJ is an essential, freely available, open-source tool in biomedical research for image processing and analysis. We will cover the do’s and don’ts of image editing, suggestions for better research data management practices, Fiji/ImageJ basics, analysis tools and concepts (ROIs, thresholding, particle counting, and colocalization), and how to make a macro. A certificate will be provided upon completion (this is not a UBC-accredited certificate). Presented by the UBC BioImaging Facility, the Dynamic Brain Circuits Research Cluster, the NeuroImaging and NeuroComputation Centre, and the UVic Neuroscience Graduate Student Association.
