The Dynamic Brain Circuits and Connections in Health and Disease research cluster brings together diverse scientists and accelerates their insights into brain circuit function by creating a stronger, more equitable and inclusive research environment: access for all to infrastructure, technology and training that embraces modern data-driven methodologies.
UBC Research Excellence Clusters bring together faculty across departments to collaborate on and catalyze advancements in a particular area of research. Our team of brain researchers represent some of the best in their fields and are a significant collaborative force. The cluster provides essential standards and training necessary to develop next generation treatments for brain disorders.
The cluster is supported by the Office of Vice-President, Academic and Provost and the Vice-President, Research + Innovation, with financial contributions from the UBC Excellence Fund.
