The Dynamic Brain Circuits Research Cluster hosted a special Databinge on April 30th that included a presentation by Adrien Peyrache which discussed recent developments with Neurodata Without Borders.
Nuerodata Without Borders is a consortium of researchers and foundations that are dedicated to breaking down the obstacles to data sharing. They have developed a series of pilot projects that aim to standardize neuroscience data on an international scale. One of these projects is Nuerodata Without Borders: Neurophysiology which aims to develop a unified, extensible, open-source data format for cellular-based neurophysiology data, one of the most common and important data types in neuroscience.
